2009 Photo contest

Iowa State University Study Abroad Center Photo Contest

Now that you are back from studying abroad, you probably have hundreds of great pictures!
Why not enter one of your favorite photos in the Study Abroad Center Photo Contest?

To enter:
1. Submit one 5 x 7 photograph (color or black & white) from a study abroad program that you participated in.
Judging criteria will be based upon how well the photograph depicts and promotes studying and traveling abroad.

2. You must submit a hard copy of your photo to the Study Abroad Center, 3224 Memorial Union and an electronic copy (jennym@iastate.edu) by 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 14th, 2009.

3. Include your name, telephone number, where the photograph was taken, the date that the photo was taken,
and a description of the photograph on the back of the photo and in your email message.

All entries will be displayed at the Study Abroad Fair on Thursday, September 17, 2009, in the Sun Room of the Memorial Union. The photographs will be judged by a 3- to 5- member panel prior to the Study Abroad Fair.
The winners will be displayed at the Study Abroad Fair and featured on our website.

There will be 2 categories: Artistic and Encouraging Study Abroad. The winning photographs from each category
will be awarded a prize. Prizes will be gift certificates to the University Bookstore.
