** Program fees for the 2006 trip are set in March. Because of unfavorable exchange rates and higher service provider costs, we are expecting the program fee to increase a minimum of 15%.

This program fee includes:

  • 8-12 credits of tuition at any Iowa Regents’ university.
  • Accommodations and half-board. Host family living with breakfast and dinner provided.
  • Instruction, class space and computer lab at the Sofogest-Pitiot in Lyon.
  • Pre-departure orientation and materials.
  • Excursions (in the past they have included Provence, Beaujolais, and the Lyon area).
  • International Student Identity Card (ISIC)
  • Supplemental international insurance coverage
  • Farewell Banquet with your host family.
  • Local transportation (a monthly pass for the bus/subway system in Lyon).
  • Some books, course packs, photocopied materials.
