Make copies of the following documents before travelling to France:
- Passport: pages that contain your info (name/birth date/expiration date/French visa, etc.)
- Insurance papers
- Student ID
It is important to make these photocopies. They will prove your status in France in case you lose your passport. They will also facilitate any administrative procedure to issue a new document for you while you are in France.
